Even as the world is collectively becoming more accepting of LGBTQIA+ people, members of this community still face unique challenges and stressors, such as discrimination, homophobia, and prejudice. Not to mention the added anxiety of coming out to the most important people in their lives. People who don’t feel they fit into the heteronormative-cisgender box often benefit from talking to someone about learning how to navigate these difficult waters.

As with any type of therapy, it’s important that the patient trusts the counselor, which is why I work very hard to create an environment in which members of the LGBTQIA+ community can feel welcome, safe, and – above all else – respected. My goal is always to provide stigma-free, affirming, accessible therapy for people who identify as members of this community.

As an LGBTQIA+ therapist, I am committed to helping clients of all genders, sexual identities, and expressions. No judgments. No biases. Just a strong support system with open ears.

My work ranges from trauma recovery to transition therapy to anxiety and depression in both LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and multiple partner relationships.

If you or someone you know is seeking help from an LGBTQIA+ therapist, contact me today. I would be happy to speak with you about how I can help.
